Are you on a diet?

Yes folks, the dreaded “D” word. I finally started my fat a** on a diet about a week ago. Let’s just say that this is probably my 50th diet for the year. You people can laugh all you want but I know that there are plenty of you out there that know exactly what i’m talking about.

So anyway, I decided that this time I will change it up and just go slow and gradually make some progress. Folks it’s been one week and I must admit that i’m doing farely well. I do have some cravings here and there but I programmed myself to not over do it. If for whatever reason i’m craving chips then I will just eat a handful of chips instead of the entire bag. Remember the slogan “Slow and steady wins the race”? Well this is the approach that you MUST take when you’re dieting. We did not get fat overnight and we certainly will not lose the weight overnight.

I’ve made a list of what i’m doing below, be sure to check it out and leave some feedback.

Current weight- 180lbs
Target weight- 150lbs
Time Frame- 1 Year or less

Sample Meal Plan
Morning 8:00am – Oatmeal, banana, Cup of Soy Milk
Snack 10:00am – Handfull of Almonds/Cereal Bar and Glass of Water
Lunch 12:00pm – Chicken Salad (hold the dressing)
Snack 2:00pm – Fruit and Glass of Water
Dinner 5:00 pm – Salmon with Brown rice and Broccoli
Snack 7:00pm – Fruit
